I wanted to go ahead and throw this version up on the site because -drumroll- I finally got around to putting audio controls in the game. so everyone who's not half deaf (like I am) doesn't have to listen to blaring music and SFX. let me know if it's still too loud on low settings.
last few days I did a lot of work on farming which a lot of players might not see much of unless they get their hands on some seeds, which as far as I can tell are a bit tricky to get early on. working on that one.
I started a kickstarter here and I 100% do not expect to see a penny of those donations, but since I'm doing this for free anyway I thought it might be nice to throw a net out there.

As for the game, my head's been in the colony space. We've now got:
- glowing rooms
-quality and efficiency numbers for workshops and bedrooms
-campfire cooking and cooked food

-spring trap for catching rodent food

-farming and npc crop maintenance

-ASHES (the burnt wood kind)

the ashes are a bit of a curveball even for me. Fact is in the jungle water is not really a problem usually because its raining all the damn time. that means we can't stardew valley this shit and we're going to have to do something else. number one danger to crops in a jungle? pests. Bugs, animals, whatever. you might not know this but back in the day (and even still today) ashes were a popular pest repellant. so i went ahead and ran with that idea and now instead of watering crops you mostly are burning up wood at the campfire and sprinkling it on your saplings. that, or hand picking the bugs off. it's a work in progress. let me know if it sucks

all items have flavor text now too. all 180+ of them. that was fun.


anyway, I'll be back soon enough. working hard every day on this still. that's not changing anytime soon
